Doctors

Dr Michelle Rodgers

Dr. Rodgers graduated from NUI Galway in 1999. She worked in Australia for 12 months in paediatric emergency medicine. She completed a further 2 years of paediatrics in Crumlin and London before completing the East London GP Vocational training scheme, graduating in 2005. Her qualifications include a diploma in childhealth, Higher diploma in dermatology and family planning / contraception certificate. Her special interests are paediatrics, dermatology and women's health.

Dr Steve Karagiannis

Dr. Karagiannis moved over from Melbourne to Ireland in 1998. He graduated from RCSI in 2003. He worked mainly in Beaumont Hospital doing posts in Medicine, A&E and Geriatrics. He then moved to Mullingar where he completed Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This was following by Paediatrics in Crumlin. He completed his GP training programme in Glasgow in 2008. His qualifications include a Diploma in Obstetrics and Women's Health, a certificate in cosmetic treatments and dermal fillers and a certificate in minor surgery. His special interests are men's health, minor surgery, skin cancer screening, cosmetic medicine and family planning. Dr. Karagiannis is a member of the European College of Aesthetic Medicine.

Nurse

Bairbre Doyle

Bairbre trained as a general nurse in the UK, qualifying with a higher diploma in 1999. She worked in the Mater hospital for eight years and then went on to work as a community nurse for a year and a half. Bairbre joined the practice in October 2008. Bairbre carries out blood tests, childhood vaccinations, cervical smear screening and assists in minor surgery.

Sonia O'Kelly Nurse/Midwife

Sonia trained as a general nurse in Tallaght Hospital and worked in general surgery and orthopaedics before training as a midwife in the Rotunda Hospital. Her main areas of interest are women's and children's health, and she is currently setting up antenatal classes for various practices within our group. Sonia also carries out blood tests, childhood vaccinations and cervical smear screening. She also assists in minor surgery.

Administration Team

Our team are on hand to help you with booking appointments or indeed any queries you may have. They work hard in the background to ensure everything in the practice runs smoothly.
